The Return of Two Girls from Koné: Lysiane and Lindsey MOTO-NEKIRIAI at the Koné Tennis Club
« The Koné tennis club is preparing to experience a historic moment with the arrival of two exceptional tennis players. These two athletes, well known in the tennis world in New Caledonia, have begun their adventure within the club on Monday September 25, bringing with them their expertise, their passion for tennis, and their desire to teach everyone, from children to adults. The Koné club is already renowned for its commitment to the development of the sport and proudly boasts 4 tennis courts.
Lysiane and Lindsey MOTO-NEKIRIAI, daughters of Koné, returned to their hometown to work. They were recruited by Jennifer LEHERLE, the president of the Koné club, in collaboration with the league, as part of a one-year training course. This training includes face-to-face sessions at the league and videoconferences with trainers from the Metropolis, and aims to obtain the State Diploma (DE).
They give group lessons every day to children and adults, as well as individual lessons. Since Monday, students from the local school have had the chance to benefit from a cycle of 6 sessions with them. In addition, they organized an internship during the holidays and are planning other internships during the summer holidays.
In addition, they closely follow the two young people from the club’s Groupe Avenir. Lysiane MOTO-NEKIRIAI will also accompany Marie BONNET DE LARBOGNE and Mathew LEHERLE during the Vanuatu tour 🇻🇺 in December.
There is no doubt that these two Coaches will become a true source of inspiration for young local talents who aspire to follow in their footsteps. The Koné club now has the privilege of counting these two athletes among its members.
Hopefully their inspiring presence will encourage many young people and adults to join the Koné club, contributing to the growth of this captivating sport in the region.
