The second weekend of the Paita club tennis tournament was marked by varied weather conditions, oscillating between sun, wind, clouds and a light rain. Despite these conditions, the rest of the matches went smoothly. A total of 22 matches were played, creating a competitive atmosphere within the Paita Club.
The highlight of this sporting event was the qualification of 8 finalists in singles. Below are the names of the finalists in each category:
– 11/12 years old: Elie GOUELLE-NGUYE and Mael DESCHAMPS
– 13/14 years old: Marius RICHARD and awaiting semi-final between Mahé SARGITO and Noé
– 15/16 years old: Nohann POUILLY and Mahé SARGITO
– 17/18 years old: Toamoana CHOLLET-JUSTIN and Nohann POUILLY
The finals will be played on Saturday November 18 at 8:00 a.m.
The consolatory finals for the 17/18 year old and 13/14 year old boys categories will begin at 9:30 a.m. also on Saturday November 18.

A series of five matches between girls took place between the first and second weekends. There is still one match to go, where Angelyse DOUEPERE from TC Paita and Cleore LACROIX from TC d’Olympic will face each other.

On Saturday November 18, 2023, after the singles matches, around fifteen doubles matches will take place during the day.
A big congratulations to the finalists for their performances and to the Referee Jeremy TIAIBA and his Tournament Director Nickolas N’GODRELA for their dedication.
